Welcome to another fabulous year at
Oak Grove! If your family is new to our charming school, we are
excited to have you! This is my second year at Oak Grove and I have fallen
in love with the students, teachers, parents, and community! It really is an
amazing place to be. Third grade is an exciting year for students; I'm
thrilled to have your family along on this fun journey.
The magic of being on the upper
grade hallway seems to bring out the best in the students. Third grade is a year of tremendous academic and emotional
growth. We will be learning many new and exciting things. In third grade
students begin to gain more independence as learners and take on more
responsibilities. This
year we will go on many engaging field trips, learn about famous Georgians who
have shaped our state's history, and have fun learning in a hands-on
environment.
The vision for Oak Grove is to unleash
the full potential of every child. What that looks like for each student
is very unique. I have the privilege to find out exactly what
success looks like for your child.
